Many local enthusiasts change trans oil at 40-50k km. I believe this too - yes ZF/BMW recommend sealed for life but I would rather change oil and extend life of EX$$$ gearbox.
Yup, 40000km, checked with my PML SA during servicing last week. But this is only for Hybrid, the standard petrol variants don't need to change ATF at all.
