Here's another 'trick' above from another forum. Tried it on my E65 and another friend on his 525. It seems to work. The car becomes more perky and gear change smoother. Anyone else tried??

This has been well documented for several makes of cars. Seems like the personalized data in the autotrans sometimes makes the autotrans become really confused and screwed up, and clearing this data helps make the transmission `better' in its unlearned default state.

That means it will work on all Bimmers with auto tranny? Anyone tried on the E90?
