Cayman/Boxster are 6 cylinder midengines derived from the 911.

Porsche's clone of this model could potentially be limited to 4/5 cylinders, which would slot in below the Boxster range.

Since this Audi shares its base with the VW BlueMotion concept sportster, it seems like a logical successor to the old 914 which was also a collaborative effort between the Veedub and Porsche in the late 60s?

I think the "electric" bit is for the treehuggers when they show this at the motorshow.
