CCFL is Cold Cathode Fluorecent Light
DDE is Daylight Demon Light

Both are 2 different types of Angel Eyes...

Jack, cant really tell the difference between the two. Is the difference between the two only in price? Or does one look brighter than the other when installed?

While price is surely different, think jaskin's one more expensive
Anyway, there are few brands for the same DDE or CCFL so it all depends...

It's indeed bit difficult to tell when both are on..But when u c them closely, the CCFL is alot thinner than DDE hence when the former projects the light, the rings look slim n clean...

I always thought DDE was just another way of saying Angel eyes.
CCFL shine brighter and more consistent like a round tube. Whereas mine's expensive cause I bought the whole headlights assembly. My angels eyes are actually lighted from the top by LEDs I think.
Both look pretty good

I think the DDE look alittle bit more OEM and is thicker than the CCFL. To know more you should read the e46fanatics write up on this topic. [/quote]
