Saw this beautifully crafted masterpiece on today's Straits Times Digital Life.
Googled it, and the reviews are rave.

anyone has lobang to buy it now?

yeah man. all the ultrabooks look so sexy. although it copies MBA's form factor, it packs alot more power.
samsung, lenovo also have.
cant wait for them to arrive.

yo pretty, but the asus is not the current ultrabook form factor.
its as slim as MBA....equally powerful and on Windows platform.

i think i am destined to be a windows slave cos still got problem adjusting to mac even though i have a macbook.

most slim notebooks in the past were crappy, running on intel atom processor. run a few more power hungry applications and it goes stoned.
so for the slim form factor but with the higher spec hardware such as i3, i5 processor and some decent ram and display, i say the new slim notebooks are what alot of us need. slim and light enough to bring everywhere but powerful enough for leisure n working needs

Sony Vaio Z notebook is another nice one. i7 with SSD HDD and lighter than MBA

probably cost double MBA as well haha

the acer aspire s3 base model is still running on normal hdd.
asus zenbook will start retailing from 8th nov onwards, and should be retailing for $1400 upwards,
i5, 4GB ram, 128GBSSD, 13.3" slim like MBA.

i think there's also a i7 version with ssd for the s3.
remembered acer promo price was 1298 for that

another ultrabook alternative is toshiba z830... packaged with 2xusb 2.0, 1x usb 3.0, hdmi and vga out in a magnesium alloy honeycomb casing...

rumors has it that s o n y would be launching an ultrabook for christmas... and soon, "sandy" would be replaced by "ivy"... with lower-power quad-core chips, e.g. 35-watt quad-core core i7 processor...
