Arghh! Scratched my rims damn jialat!!!

So fed up. Was at a run down place (ST Teleport @ Ayer Rajah) then at first park swee swee liao, the security guard came out and tell me to move forward. Forgetting there's a little slanted kerb on the left (can't see from driver seat) I drove over it and now my rims are badly damaged. I mean really bad that even my tyres chipped.

Can Hurry Tyres repair it?

I'll try to take pics.

Sorry for the rant. ARGH. Damn upset

Hurry can smoothen and touch up, but not to brand new condition.

Get their inputs about the injury to the rubber as well.

i'm running 225/255 on 8.5J/9.5J rim, which is abit stretch. if i scratch my rim, the tyre is protected ... lol .... end of OT

I had similar scatches too. Very bad, just like yours. Also happened when I had already parked swee swee near the kerb, but decided to move a bit forward to make it even more swee. In the end, the rims ganna. Knn @##@@$.

i reversed into a low kerb which i didnt see. the scratch on my rims are even worst den yours.

ABD,

here is the pix. you can see that the tyre did not 'cover' the rim
ride quality suffer because the tyre is stretched and become harder. when the tyres are due for replacement, must replace with 235/265

Can see some pikchure of yr 225/255 on 8.5J/9.5J rim :woowooo:??

ride quality suffer because the tyre is stretched and become harder. when the tyres are due for replacement, must replace with 235/265

I thought stretched tyre hanlding is better? I read somewhere the ZCP M3 now has slightly wider rim to purposedly stretch the tyre a bit, unless i was on drugs that day when I read it.:ehhh:

225/255 is the BMW recommended spec leh.

225/255 is recommended spec because stock setup is 8J/8.5J and not 8.5J/9.5J

stretch tyres also got pro and con la. performance/handling good means comfort is not so good (both is mutually exclusive)

stock e90 320 with no juice and it does not come with sprintbooster
just changed from oem 193M 8J/8.5J to miro 942 (bmw 313 reps) 8.5J/9.5J

it didn't spoil my day. it spoil my week. damn sian to see the scratch every morning. somemore the rims are "new"... less than a month old. WTF. gg to hurry tyres tomorrow (hopefully.. have been v busy)

same here. When my rear was punctured I change to 265.
Now waiting for front to wear out and I will change to 235.
Otherwise rims keep protecting the tyres lol

finally brought it to hurry to get it fixed. basically they just sand down and touch up with paint. also asked them to wash my rims.

good service, and very very reasonable pricing.

Hurry Tires Recommended by Dash solved my problem.. I had worse damage than detach8's rim but all it took was 40 mins to bring my smile back on, at a low cost
