Hardly exhaust system gives you much power gains to be honest..
If I buy an exhaust for a car, I will look for the following criteria:
1. Sound and build quality
2. Weight

Anyway, approved ones are:
AC Schnitzer
Remus
SuperSprint
Sebring
Hamann

Yeah, like Jack said, it's 98% for looks and sound and 2% for any power gains...

I thot its 99% looks 1% sound

I saw one white e90 at J4C fitted with full HAMANN body kits, rims and what have you. Got 4 exhaust tips at the butt boss ! :woowooo: Initially I thought the E90 M3 have landed on our shores

Different brands for different cars produce different sounds..
For eg, Supersprint vs Remus
6potter application: SS is louder than Remus
BUT
4potter application: Remus is louder

In any case, all the above brands mentioned should induce bassy sounds vs stock muffler. That's for sure.
