Anyone on Xiaoyi dashcam?

Hi all.. need a cam on my E60 but looking for something budget. Seen many brands like iroad and blackvue costing $400 - $700 but also have problems (drain batt).

Anyone has affordable option to recommend? No need 24hr (battery drain issue I hv read). Just basic front cam.

I stumbled upon this brand Xiaoyi (Xiaomi has some shares) and review seems good. Just wondering any Bros or Sis here using. Or can recommend something cost effective

Thank for sharing Jae60son. Is your professional installed ? As in hidden wires .. E60?

Coz i realised E60 cigarette plug is only in the arm rest facing rear passenger.

Am I missing something.. is there a cigarette socket in the front or below glove compartment? Just bought the car month ago so still "new" to E60.

No hidden wires. Just loop a Long USB cable for the rear cig plug. Only the pre LCI I think had cig plug in the front, the LCI only had them in the rear cos I think the Engineers are cleverer to think probably we are chauffeured

Hi there, I am using the iroad Q7 and was recommended to get a external battery from iroad.
Battery can last up to 39 hours and it will charge when your car is running.

There is also an app that you can log in to check the remaining power and charging timing.
