Re: Anyone knows what this indicate??

shld be a faulty indicator, for wat ? not sure cos never light up past 6yrs but how come u got safety belt light indicator , i dun have keke..

Re: Anyone knows what this indicate??

wow why i don't have the safety belt indicator too? haha mine also lights up. i have no idea what is it also.

hmm what's the light beside the exclamation mark? (not the park indicator.)

Re: Anyone knows what this indicate??

brake pad warning. If you have already replaced the pads and they are still lit, means that the pad sensor is spoilt..so replace that too.

Re: Anyone knows what this indicate??

the brake pad warning is which? the exclamation mark one? or the one beside it?

Re: Anyone knows what this indicate??

Google holds the answer..

BMW E36 Warning Lamps | BMW E36 Blog

The circle in the middle with the weird broken paranthesis is the brake pad sensor

The exclaimation mark one indicates low brake fluid.

I used to have both lights come on too, but my brake fluid level was ok. Only after replacing the pads did both go away

haha do u know how to check all the lights are working?
u need press the reset of ur milleage button & turn ur key , at same time release the reset button.
it will run all the system meters & lights test.

ok ok. cool. i'll try it during the next top up of petrol.

Re: Anyone knows what this indicate??

those 2 indicators will only light up when you start the engine right? it won't be lit while you are driving?

bro can do anytime, no need top up petrol , it will not reset ur milleage meter when u do the testing. It will show the last top speed u travel before PML servicing , i think. cos the reading never change anymore after u service outside.

Re: Anyone knows what this indicate??

Thanks bros for all the informations..Will check the brake pads and the fluid...:)

Oh by the way, about the seat belts lights,I think most of our meter either never put the bulb or bulb already blown..I dismantle all before ,it dont have bulb,so i put one in..thats it,but it will go off when u start the car...

Cheers.....
