"ボディダンパー" translates to "Body Damper"...
From my very limited and rusty knowledge of Japanese, it's some kinda underbody damper that is supposed to reduce transmission of vibration and improve ride comfort...
Did a quick search and you can see where it is mounted here:

apparently they have it for the e46 too!
the studie guys are able to communicate in english. they are quite big in the US modding scene.

had a tough time deciphering what he was trying to say, but here goes...

"for the e9x, the COX bodydamper is an easy fit. however for the e46, some modification is needed, and only for the face-lifted version.
