Anyone installed Iroad V7 car camera on E90?

Hi folks,

Anyone installed the above camera on their E90?
How's the review?

Was told by installer that all BMW will have error msg if install car cam direct to the car battery for recording during parking, so an external battery pack is recommended, is this true?

Hi im currently using Iroad V7 on my e90 lci since April 15.

So far so good. Front video is good but the rear is s-so.

No error codes as well.. A gd buy 4 me..

Did you install the battery pack for Parking Recording?
Mind sharing where u installed and how much? If inconvenient can PM me.
Worried that some installers are not familiar with BMW and end up connecting wrongly and affecting the electrical circuit.

I'm using it too, there's a new v9 already.
Not using any battery pack. Linked to car battery and it will last around 24h if you are not driving the car

You link direct to your car battery? Just using the inbuilt voltage monitoring system?
Any issue of error code when you go to to your car in the morn?
Some installers say for BMW not recommended to install direct to battery, recommended to power it via another battery pack.

I'm using it too, there's a new v9 already.

No error code as the camera will switch off once the voltage is low.

I also installed Iroad V7 on my E90. So far so good, no error codes whatsoever. I do not have the battery pack and direct connection to car battery. Camera will auto off once voltage is low as what bro Teow Yiwei mentioned.

Looks like its a good camera.
Is it able to record 10 to 12hrs via direct battery connection while the car is parked?

I also installed Iroad V7 on my E90. So far so good, no error codes whatsoever. I do not have the battery pack and direct connection to car battery. Camera will auto off once voltage is low as what bro Teow Yiwei mentioned.
