Hi Guys,
i am looking for the E46 318i (A)
manual.
Anyone have a copy to share. My dealer which i have just got from did not ask it from the previous car owner.

I need to find out how to set the seat/mirror memory.
if you can give me a short tutorial on this, that will be great!

also i seem to have a problem, i have this yellow light( yellow means bad) that looks like the radiator that comes on and off. anyone know what that indicates?

Gonna send the car for a quick service on monday but if someone can share what the radiaor light is please let me know. it does not seem like the temp as the water temp stays mid range.

thanks alot guys!

go and check out bimshop's resource page. i vaguely recall sszone posting the website where you can get the softcopy of the manual.

the yellow radiator indicator is on and off intermittently? your coolant level may be low. check the water level when your engine is cool. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN WHEN HOT! there is a stick that should be sticking out when you open the cap. if it is low, top it up with distilled water. u can get the distilled drinking water from the petrol station for this. there is however something that you need to do - unscrew the bleeder screw first. if you are not familiar, best to send it to the workshop. easy to do, but you need to know where and what.

whilst you are at the workshop, might as well ask the mechanic to check your expansion tank to see that it is not cracked. common problem for e46 approaching 100,000kms and/or 5 years old.

come join us at the meet-up this sunday and then for the e46 meet-up at t3. can have a chat with fellow e46 owners and get more info. we'd also be able to help to calibrate your mirror and seat memory settings.

Thanks bro, for your help and information. I will check what you have mentioned. distilled = newwater lol .. just kidding.. i will get the distilled water/battery water from the petrol kiosk.

i have found the manual here E46 Manuals | The Web Page of Kristopher Linquist
or at least its the 325/320 model but pretty similar.

Hope i make it back early from malaysia on sunday, will try and make it for the meetup at T3... havent even been there yet.

Cheers!
Ken
