Anyone had DSC problem like mine? Four sensors and hydraulic unit failed

Here is my 325iC experienced recently:
Replaced four tyres at PML service center, two days later four warning lights were suddenly on including ABS,and Brake. PML technician told me that was DSC malfunction warning. One of rear speed sensor were diagnosed faulty and 2 rear sensors were replaced as a result.

Couple weeks later the DSC warning lights were on again. This time 2 front speed sensors were faulty. After fruitless dispute I paid for changing the 2 front sensors with reservation. So far I had spent $900 for 4 new speed sensors in 2 weeks.

Two months later less than 3,000KM driven, the DSC warning lights inevitably returned. This time PML informed me the hydraulic unit needs to be changed. The bill size would be $3000-4000.

The car is 2009 325iC around 40,000KM when the tyres were changed, regularly maintained at PML service center and trouble free before the incident. I can't understand how 4 independently working sensors together with the hydraulic unit all fail almost at same time? Is there a possibility that replacing tyres can cause the DSC problem?
Any help from anyone would be good for me.

Re: Anyone had DSC problem like mine? Four sensors and hydraulic unit failed

Im not expert, but why would you even think that changing tyre will affect any of the items?

Re: Anyone had DSC problem like mine? Four sensors and hydraulic unit failed

those donkeys at PML will tell you all sort of stories.... sensor spolit, change; problem persist, change hydraulic unit. after change hydraulic unit and the problem persist how? change car?

I will suggest you change workshop. before that, ask PML to change all 4 sensor again, just for the fun of it. remember to ask them back for the old 4. Im quite sure after changing again the 4 sensors, your issue will be gone for at least 3 days. lolx.

My 2 cents:

(1) If truly the problem was with the ABS Speed Sensors, they could be clean first before full replacement. No reason to suspect all 4 are faulty - more likely that they are dirty. A cleaning would have saved you some $$$. This, I suspect, only an external workshop will be bothered. Usually, agent will just change parts.

(2) For every issues you have encountered and will be encountering, get a second opinion with a workshop outside - including the current alleged "hydraulic" issue.

(3) For tyres, go to a tyre shop. Cut the middleman fees.
