Anyone encountered 3 'honks' to start a drag

Hi,

Have an encounter on Sunday night along TPE. Travelling at middle lane about 80+km/h when a car came flying passed on lane 1, then slow-down to line up with me. I can't see the driver cos the window is tinted. Stayed with me for like 500m. I was wondering if he/she is my friends or

Out of sudden, I heard 3 'honks' from the car and then he speed-up and then gone.

Is he asking for some draging ??? maybe BUT I was just too burr to react
Probably pissed him off.
