If you are looking at the new ones, I was informed by my Sales rept that BMW Asia isnt supplying any more touring as they want PML to commit to more quantity.
I have e39 525i Touring. There are about 6-7 of these running ard. Mine is Ti Silver
I like the extra room, the rear cargo has enough space for 4 suitcases standing up once you remove the cargo cover.
I have a major complaint abt the cargo cover as it weights a ton, very impractical if you need to move it around more. Its almost a workout trying to clip it into the secondary position.
The dual openings in the rear is very useful, I like having the ability to release and access the rear without having to open it all the way.
Cargo is is also an interesting design, it was built so you can slide the tray out, but it requires to you life it up to release a latch before you can slide it out.
Imagine a few big items that weights 50 lbs each. I dont think so.

Thanks R33devil. Presently driving e34, and always liked both e34 and e39 touring models, except i have never seen one on the road here. may need more carrying ability yet still want to stick to the marque, so i have a dilemma. In fact, are there e46 tourings locally too?

There are more e46 tourings, but mostly are 318is, my sales guy, George Chew has a silver one, very nice, its his dog hauler.
The last few registered were ones with sport packs, full Mtech body kit and all, sold by one of the former authorised dealers from PML, although if I recall correctly, those were all PI cars.
I think there is another Ti silver 5 touring on this list,

dont flag me down when you have a problem..hahaha...I see you used it? The one that came over to service our E38 735il has always been a silver E46 touring.
One day, I am going to challenge him and see who has more tools in the car...
