Any reviews on this package by soundwerkz for E60?

Hi,

Was recommended this rather basic package by Soundwerkz for the E60:

Audison SR4 amp.
Rainbow replacement component speakers
Helix replacement mid-bass below the front seats.

Everything else will be running off stocks. Any bros have this set-up and can comment on the sound quality? Thanks so much

I think there's one more basic package without replacing the speakers under the seats.

Guys, it will sound better but don't expect too much from a basic upgrade. Certainly a notch above the stock system but basic, in my opinion. It is difficult to ask for opinion because everyone's ears are different. I have heard a $10,000 system before and to me, it sounded slightly better than a $2,000 system.

Don't ask for people's opinions. Go and sit in other's cars and audit their systems. Pick the components you want and ask the audio shops to assemble and set it up for you. Of course, if you want it fuss-free, take the recommended packages.

Hi,

Just like to share with you guys of my previous set up on E60 (525i) - Passive set up and the sound quality is much much better than the original stock system.

Audison LRX-1.1K Amplifier to drive the 12" subwoofer
Audison LRX-4.1K Amplifier to drive the 2 x 4" speakers and 2 x 6.5" mid bass speaker
1 x Hertz ES300 12" Subwoofer to provide super power bass
1 set DLS Reference R4 - 2 way system 4" speaker to replace the front stock speaker
1 set DLS R6A - 6.5" Mid Bass speaker to drive mid bass from the bottom of the front passenger & driver seats

And you can get good quality power cables in Sim Lim Tower at a very low cost instead of getting it from the Audio store.

Hi quality 4 awg Power cables - 3 meters
Hi quality 4 awg Ground cables - 3 meters
Hi quality GS6 RCA Monster connecting cable x 2 (each 2 meters)
Super grade RCA Connector x 4pcs

I enjoy good quality sound with the above set up for my past 18 months and intend to transfer over to my new F10 soon. But the new F10 stock system sound quality is surprisingly good enough therefore i'm thinking of clearing off the above system if any bro interested.
