Hey broz out there

If any1 gotta any ideas on when will E90 coupe/convertible series reach our shores??? New M3 will be based on the E90 platform rite ? ? ?

The "gues-timation" of e90 coupes / cabs should be release in 2nd /3rd quarter of 2006, arriving our shore by end 2006. For e90 M3/M4, earliest will be mid 2007.

Its quite strange NOT to see any definitive spy pics of the E90 coupe/vert... Rumours are still abound regarding the vert's top, whether its gonna be soft/hard... etc etc...

i read bmw will have a harder time doing a hard top convertible. due to the 50-50 weight distribution requirement. thats why the 6 and z4 are soft tops, cos its light, does not affect weight distribution.

Good guess about the weight distribution! All I know that Autospies have great PS masters so what we see may/may not be the actual cars... but knowing Autospies, they can be quite close!

If this is the New E90 m3, i think they kinda got the styling right. not too retro and maintain abit of the old e46 m3 styling.

i remember couple of yrs back, when the whole lot of us went to the Z4 launch at shang, our good friend Chris Bangle mentioned that at that particular moment he already had the shape of the E90 cabriolet done up already. (meaning, the sedan, coupe and estate versions were already finalised)

the pics of the coupe and cabrio are not out now is only coz of good secret keeping and info embargo by BMW. We shall see them in due time, when they are officially released.
