dunno if i'm right...but for example...if i had gotten from PML..omv would be about 55k...vs my current 35k..abt 20k diff? so if i sell within 3-5years..i would have gotten abt 10-15k less since omv lower?
if ur saying urs is only 7k diff...then..selling price would be less than 10k diff if u sell witin 3-5years? so if ur savings more than 20k..then its more worth it to buy PI?
wow .... for the same car PI OMV is $20K lower with lesser or equal "options" ?

20k difference in OMV is a lot of difference. Unless you plan to drive the car all the way to the 10th year, a higher OMV will help defray the depreciation if you want to sell after a few years.
OMV higher (ie PML) .. the car cost $20K more .... you sell higher
OMV lower (ie PI) ... the car cost $20K less .... you sell lower
isn't it a fair square ? pay higher sell higher ... pay lower sell lower ... ? i would rather pay less or take less loan. the money in my pocket is better in pml pocket ... who knows what's the resell price in the next 3-5 years. not to mention NPV (net present value) that every $1 you pay now, the $1 you get from selling the car is actually worth lesser
