Hi Blackknight88,
Ya...hope it will improve.

Ken,
I am on RE001 leow :(

Anyone tested this tyres?

Re: any comments on Bridgestone RE001 ?

I am using these tyres too, found it to be good both in wet and dry. Not the best but really better than others that I have tried, and the noise level are pretty decent for these tyres.

Re: any comments on Bridgestone RE001 ?

Hi stevenwu,

Currently using the same tyres. Consider it to be better then some others performance tyres. Shld use a few more days for it to be season.....

Previously had a thread on this tyres. maybe u wanna check it out. More feed back and comments.

Re: any comments on Bridgestone RE001 ?

Prof Wu
Ur rubber hasnt scrubbed in....300kms of drive and u will find the real grip
Having said that, why RE001 and not the RE11?
I suppose price diff between the two is marginal, higher for the Re11 in this case

Re: any comments on Bridgestone RE001 ?

1 problem with 001 is that it doesn't offer much rim protection unlike my previous Eagle F1.

Re: any comments on Bridgestone RE001 ?

i was told RE11 is a "control" model and not all tyres shop has the AD RE11 and most sell PI RE11
is there a difference in quality between AD vs PI RE11 ?

Hi,

Been using it for the last 6 months. No complain and I think VFM.

I guessed a lot has to do with size and pressure.

Maybe you can check on these 2 items?

Normal commute I hit about 150km and still grippy...

Re: any comments on Bridgestone RE001 ?

Just finish off 2 pcs at rear within 9mths duration.Consider it,Good,Gripping in dry & wet. But tire wears off quite fast, should be due to this soft compound rubbers..(What I think) You need to run in the tyres..Then U can feel its performance..

hi pal,
9 months is kind of fast to wear off the rear tyres.....care to share the distance they \ve been travelled ?

It should be around 11000 or 12000.mostly spirited driving style..like hard cornering... I didn't rotate the tyres,it should be all these reason that wears off faster as usual.. But Im confident with it while cornerings and in raining drives..
