Anti-Theft Alarm Blinker Below RV Mirror

Hi,

My F07 comes with the Anti-Theft system. When it is armed, the manual states that the blinker below the RV mirror should blink. However, mine is not blinking. I would like to check with our gurus here if there is a setting to enable/disable the blinking? I can't seem to find this info in the manual.

Don't think there is a setting in the iDrive to enable/disable the blinking. If you have the Anti-Theft system, it should always be armed and blinking, if not send it to PML or workshop to check if you are very sure your car has this option.
Just to add, the manual always states all available features for your car model but may not be necessarily specific to your car. Sometimes your car may not have certain option as stated in the manual.

Thanks for the advice. I have realised that anti theft system and anti theft alarm options are 2 different things. I have the former but not the latter. So blinker will not blink.
