Anthracite headlining

Just looking at the list of BMW Individual options, and I see "anthracite headlining" for $685. I'm thinking that this might be pretty practical, because the pale headlining that comes standard in most models gets dirty all too easily. Anyone have experience of this? Any drawbacks? Would it be too dark with black leather?

anthracite... cant see if it is dirty... only got the white dusk spacks...

the pale coloured standard, dirty will be able to see immediately...

Yeah, and I think it might look cool too

But will it look like a black hole if I get black leather and anthracite headlining? Or can I hope that the brushed aluminium will lift the gloom? I might add that some people have told me that it will make the cabin too hot, but that seems like bad physics to me....the lining is on the *inside* after all....anyone have any experience/advice?

My 318i comes with black leather and black headlining.. And no, it does not look like a black hole!! Ha. I would say just do it. My trims are still the standard wood trims. Looks alright to me.

And as for the interior, if you park the car under the sun, with pale or black, also will get very hot!!

Just saw the latest E90 325i Sports version in KL. Black leather and black headlining. Totally awesome man.......Just do it......
