Amsoil Engine Oil

Any bro here uses this on their M54 engines?

used it before...on my M54 engine... frankly... whats the diff...i dunno...

OWS Castrol Amsoil...

used all...all seems the same... whoever tells u change to amsoil can make ur car faster ( thats what the guy who sold me the amsoil said) ... is like saying armageddon has hit tuas and coming to orchard soon...

i personally feel the amsoil gives good protection. but i was told to fill up 7 quarts. my e90 user manual states to use only 4.5L so with 7 quarts which equates to almost 7L i feel my car is a bit more sluggish on the drag.

in conclusion i got no doubts abt its engine protection as my engine noise has reduced, but i unsure about the 7quarts. my amateurish 2cts worth. =)

You put 7L in your car? Did it fill it to the top of the oil cap?

i didnt feel up myself. the mechanic did it for me. apparently my engine managed to swallow everything. ha.

why would the manual stat 4.5 litres then? where is the other 2.5 litres going? the filter?

Thank you all for the reply. I am more worried it will spoil the engine than anything. I got it cheap so cannot complain.

Did you see them do the oil change? It could be they are keeping the other 2 qtz..
