Air intake hose?

hey u guys.. anyone knows where to get flexible hose by the foot-run or meter-run pls? trying to route some cooler air to my cone filter..

Micheal,

You can try some shops at King George's road. Just behind lavender MRT.

There are some outside HDB corner shops which sells the black heat resistant tubing. I'm sure you can find your stuff there.

PS: Did you get my snail mail?

thanx a lot for the tip man!.. and yeah..also many thanx for the snail mail...got them..the decals are sitting pretty on my windshield..and the cards too..

once again, thanx man...appreciate all the efforts and hard work that goes into this site.;)
 
Thanx to Ryan, i found the hose i was looking for... f

or anyone else interested, there are 2 corner shops at King Georges Ave/Jellicoe rd, behind the Lavender MRT, that specialises is hoses of all sorts... i bought a 2 1/2 " section 4' hose @ $9/ft run.. automotive grade, germand made hose.. so no problems with meltdown in the engine bay..

hope its useful if anyone else loking for hoses..

secret??...duh..hehhe...nothing big lah..my interests lie in trying to get the machine to run efficiently... some cooler air wouldnt hurt..neither would a properly designed shield for the cone filter.. also considering remounting the air mass sensor...;)
 
i second ryan's thought. pls put pics to help me with DIY..dun wanna end up using blue tack and super glue. i engineering retarded.
 
hahh..i guess i'll post up some pics once the design's done and fabricated..though i dare say it'll pale when compared to some of the other things done by the gurus on the board..:)

nonetheless ..mod on...
