Air con woes advice

Hi Bro,

I am driving a 4 yr old E46 and has recently encounter the following a/con problem. The a/con is extremely cold & quite strong wind when switch on but after cruising for 15 mins and the strong wind slow down & no longer cold. Seems like the tube have frozen till no more air can pass thru. After switching off the a/con for a while & then on again , it is cold with wind & then the no cold wind cycle starts again. Can any fellow bro advise me on what needs to be fixed & the estimated damage?

Hi,

Look like your blower is dying. Go to J4C or BVO and have it checked.

It's quite common for E46. Suspect the air con temp senser kaput. Can change at BVO.

I think it may be the sensors since the a/con is very cold initially . Thks for the tip.
