Saw a set 18" e92 M3 style260 rims selling 2nd hand. i like the gunmetal color, think it will go nicely with my black e90 for that stealth look but the offsets look really aggressive. Using a tire calculator, the tire diameter would be incorrect so would need thinner tires.
Spec:
8.5x18 ET29 front, 245/40/18
9.5x18 ET23 rear 265/40/18
Also saw on e90post.com that the front would have no problem but the owner had to roll fenders and switching the rear to 265/35/18 tire minimized the rubbing.
My question to you pro's/guru's is that
1. I'm going back to stock suspension from kw v2 so the camber would be more positive, would these still fit with a front 245/35/18 and rear 265/35/18 with no rubbing?
2. Even if they do fit, what sort of long term problems would there be with such an aggressive offset since the e90's stock offset is ET34 & ET37?
3. Any 18" rim recommendation for a e90 with black out grill, m-tech-kit for that 'stealth look'? hehe thanks. wonder where i can get 18" gunmetal CSL reps?
