Advise onE46 325ci exhaust..

Hi guys.. any recommendation on the rear muffler for E46 325ci coupe ?? i do not need them to be LTA compliant and i WANT them to be as LOUD as possible..b'cos not using locally..intend to bring them back to France when i come back to for a short vacation..Need info on brands, prices.. etc

In that case why don't you custom one if you're into loud exhaust systems?
You could probably slap on straight pipes and weld on some chrome tips...

Alternatively there's the usual suspects like Eisenmann or UUC Motorwerks

Hi.. in the case of customising one for my ride what will be the damage like($$) and i do worry about the fitment if the brackets were not align properly as i want them to be plug n play..

btw locally who is bringing in the Eisenmann or UUC Motorwerks muffler and whats e price like?

for the price of a branded aftermarket muffler, you can buy a set of headers and remove all the catalytic converters & resonators and replace your muffler with straight pipes with titanium tips welded on the ends for looks.

it will be LOUD.

cars are left hand drive in france right? you can purchase supersprint replica headers for 200-300USD from ebay. cost of pipes should be less than 100USD if purchased from singapore. titanium tips probably another 100USD at most. miscellaneous items like ecu reflash or oxygen sensor simulators plus labour would really depend on charges in france but if you do your sums, it should still be cheaper.

Like Louis said, if you want it to be loud, forget about mufflers.

You should do headers > straights pipes to the back > 2 tips for looks.

That's it. Cheap too.

Hi..thks for e advise... i do wana touch on e headers and remove the cat n stuffs but as i will only be driving my ride for another 3-4 yrs from now so i do not want to do intensive mods on it..furthermore in france i am staying in a small town and the car shops do not have much expertise on modding cars as french people are kinda 'lazy' ..prefer to fix on smthing which is plug n play..so after much consideration i decide to touch on e rear mufflers and maybe get a good air intake just to have a little more bassier than stock and also not to affect the FC of my ride too much..btw mine is a manual 325 thus modding the input and output is more than enuff for me..

Any gd stuffs for 325 pls post it up as well... looking at some add on M tech frount kit, E46 M3 replica mirrors, a set of resonably good frount n back rotors...etc..thks..

I am staying near the town of Bordeaux..from the main town my home is another 60km away...
