Advice on tire size

Just got myself a set of 18 x 8jj rims all round for my e36 sedan.

Gonna install sports suspension and wants to avoid fender rubbing etc...

Wat is the recommended tire size? 225/40/18?

Any e36 bros here can advise based on actual experience and wat tire profile if you are running 18" wheels?

225 40 18 is quite normal

Main factor will be the offset of the rims. 225 fits nicely on 8J rims.
