Advice on E90 mechanical problem

I would like to ask if anyone can help with this.

E90 2006 model (2.5 litre) car has recently given the following problems:
1. When at stationary and idle on "D" at traffic lights, the car idle RPM drops and gives a shudder as if it was going to die but doesnt.
2. When semi to hard braking is applied from moving to 20kph, the car engine dies. This is very seldom but causes concern as the only way is to stop car, put to park and restart engine whilst power steering dies etc.

What are the causes of the above problems and how can this be rectified?

PML says it is misfiring and has changed capacitor? But not too confident of their analysis.

Thank you in advance

Bro, or sis, whatever: if ur car is out of warranty, why not bring down to any of the workshop that is listed in our site sponsor's page for a diagnosis? Try R2D, BVO or J4C. I've not been to Boss but it's recommended by many as well.
Paiseh I know nuts about car so I can only ask u go workshop ke ke.

Btw if u had changed ur capacitors and everything ok now, congrats and enjoy ur ride!

Well, both problems are due to faulty ignition coils. For 6 cylinders, you have to replace all 6 so 6x50=300. That will solve your problem. Get it rectified at any sponsor workshops.

I know because I rectified the exact same problems a few months back.

Cheers.
