advice on Brake Systems

Hi, I just purchased an E60, and fitted M5 19" rims onto it. Was wondering if the stock discs will look too small in those rims.

If so, what are the types of big brake kits available out there, and if anyone could advice on the price range of these kits.

Other than asthetics, is there really any reason I should be changing my brakes?

Appreciate your time and comments on this issue, thanks.

Re: advice on Brake Systems

Hi dude, welcome..

Yes it will look a tad smaller esp if ur ride is either of these models 520/523/525
530 seems fine.

U dont really need to change to bigger brakes at all for street driving.

But if u want it for the sake of the look while at the same time hv better braking then u may wish to look at some big brake kits. I suggest you just do the front.

A 6 pot caliper Brembo monobloc for eg can satisfy your wants.

Price range, pm our resident forum cum pimp sponsor Rex7_Vtec aka Barry

Cheers n gd luck

Best choice - A 6 pot caliper Brembo monobloc - $5999 +/- i think :)
