Thanks for those who pop in...

shall cut the story short... paid for a package (paint protection, car wash, dent repairs etc) and was offered by the shop to repair my scratched rims on the fornt passenger side too (complimentary).

However to my dismay, when I collect my car, I noticed another rim rash on one of the rear rims too! it must have been caused by one of its employees during their drive. the damage even cause a portion of the rubber to be ripped off the tyre.

Now, what can i do? ask for a compensation?

The services have all been paid for in the beginning... via Visa though.

Any advice will be appreciated. thanks !

Bernard, u should have asked on the spot....now harder to dispute when u go back to them

yo steven, did pointed that out to them... and they offered to repair that set of rims too. but me being new to them.. and this happened in the 1st of 5 maintenance w them, i've kinda lost confidence. what else can i get them to compensate tho?

or just tough luck? thanks anways.

hey bro,

on my last ride, i had e same experience with a workshop.........

e tools they use to open my wheels has caused some damages to both e rear ones...

e people was nasty n even try to deny tat it was their fault.......my wheels was only 3 days old dude......

well.....after some F*#@ing n Sc#@ing..........they paid for both my rear wheels........

tat was my 1st service......I considered my warranty void on my only 2 mths old ride.....(Pi worshop la.....)

As for u....consider urself lucky tat it is jus a car grooming company........

Sorry to hear that Jovibon.

Nowadays, if I manage to finish my grooming session with nothing going wrong (I mean minor stuff), I count that a blessing!
Of couse, with serious damage, must tell them on the spot. If they agree to rectify, I think it is ok. Many workers with the groomers are foreigners with limited experience. With their pay, they also bochap. It's like my maid, spoil the things in my house once in a while. Bo bian sometimes, lan lan. haiz.....
