Re: Advice needed on lowering

i would think it would be good to let us know whether you are lowering becoz of performance (handling) sake or more for looks...

hi chongster, can get both anot ah.... hee hee... ai p ai qi....heehee
after havg the performance bodykit, felt that the look wil look sharper if the car is also lowered.... so want to hav the look but also not compromise to the original handling. any suggestion?:laughlik:

Hi R335,
I am not an expert on suspension nor do I drive a 335, but I am also a "ai p ai qi" robot and I have thought of this question for a long time. I think if you want to lower your car and yet does not end up with something that compromise / handles worse than your msports suspension, go for a good set of coilovers.....just my 2cents.

Hi R335,

go for coilover better........................no compromised......

+1 for coilover. only coilover can gives you the 'low' look that you wish, which must be lower than your msport suspension now

Re: Advice needed on lowering

once you changed to coilovers, you will lose a bit of comfort but some of them has a good trade off between performance and comfort. I was thinking along the same line as you when i thought the m-sports suspension is too soft (too floaty to my taste).

From my extensive research a yr ago, the best ones (and not too overkill) are the AST Suspension + Swift Springs and the set of Moton that i have. I believe that there are still a number on the AST setup so you can try looking for them to have a ride in. If you wish to test the Moton, i can try arranging for you (but no promises).

Since you have rolled your fenders, there should not be any issue of rubbing.
