Advice for Getting BMW 323i or 325i

Dear fellow bros and sis,

I'm in the midst of planning to purchase the first BMW in my life.

After visiting PML website, I think the new BMW 3 series of 323i or 325i is very appealing. I have a few questions to seek valuable advice from the veterans and bmwers in this forum.

1. Is there anywhere I can locate the latest pricing week in and week out?

2. Is this a good time to buy BMW? If not, when do you suggest?

3. As COE is still on the upside, what will PML do to entice buyers from staying too long on the sidelines? Are there more rebates thrown to offset the high COE costs?

4. What are the freebies or free upgrades we can expect or bargain from the Sales Executive (SE)?

5. Do you have any recommended SE whom can give the best offer and quality customer service?

6. Finally, what is the main distinction between 323i and 325i? Which is better choice and value for money?

Thank you very much for your feedback and contributions! :)

the only big doscount comes when they r clearing stock. the pre face lifted 3 series had more than 20k off the list price. for this face lifted model, there are packages that give free COE or 1st yr fee instalments, either way u look at it both promos given the same discount. think u r looking at about 160k for the 325 now. chinese new yr period might be a good time to buy, they might entice ppl by throwing in more stuff.

Re: Advice for Getting BMW 323i or 325i

last i know, as per a couple of weeks ago, i thot the diff was only abt 5K, so almost like no need to consider the 323... 325 definitely. Only thing is that i think the waiting might be longer.

timing-wise, the cny sale shud be up and coming like slater said. shud b quite a good time to get, since chances are they'll throw in more freebies/accessories. price shud be more or less the same.

if u're talking abt the NEXT 3 series, think its still abt 1 year plus away at the fastest, since the new 5 (F-series, F10) is not even on our shores... Pix are out tho for the F series 3er... but still long way to go...

if i were in ur shoes, it's definitely 325.

month to month target not critical

year end target will affect bonuses and survivor.
should be able to squeeze out 1k worth of goodies.

C3PO normally squeezed other things......

May I suggest a second hand 335? Quite good value and should be around your price range...gotta be selective though.

You're right on that...so had to get another four door car on top of the E92! But I'm glad to be back in the coupe crowd after spending some time in the sedan crowd.
