Admin look here....

Hi Admin, was wondering if you can provide a link that will reflect all postings by date. Say for example, my laptop keeps logging out of BMWSG and asked me to relog in, then I would have lost track of all my view recent posts.

Also, sometimes, you have like 300 unread posts, and in the middle of it, should you take a break, etc, coming back in, you lose all postings again. As such, a link by date showing all new postings on that date will be great for checking out what you have missed for the day yah!

Cheers!

Ur browser setting. Check !!!

Hi Winston,

The primary issue is that i have set the session time (time you can stay logged into BMW.SG without being disconnected) to 4 hours.

While this is a pretty long session time, you may wish to look into allowing cookies to be recorded properly on your computer.

With regards to the links to the posts by date, or "showing new posts / day" is that, the view all recent threads folder does that.

The problem is that of the forum logging you out, thus erasing all records of new posts, REGARDLESS whether you have viewed/or not viewed them at all.

One of the few solutions i can provide for the time being is:

1. Ensure your computer allows cookies to be stored on your PC. You can change your security settings via IE (Tools > Internet Options > Security) and adjust the level of security for http://www.bmw-sg.com ONLY.

2. Don't close the browser window at all, because the forum will reset all "read posts". While this is may be the main culprit, the forum software (sadly) doesn't store session information on the server.

In the meantime, i'll try to look for some solution to this online.... thanks for pointing this out. :)

ryan, you the man! thanks and many kam sias....
