Adaptive drive or DDC on F10?

Hi I have read up on various forums and I am still as confused as ever. :-$

What is the difference between adaptive drive and DDC?

My ride is a f10 523i Highline with normal/sports/sports+ mode which I can turn off the traction control.

Do I have ADC or DDC?

If I want to lower my rise, can I go opt for KW or just springs+shocks?

when you go into the sports mode…is there an option to configure the sports mode like in the pic? If not then you don't have either DDC or adaptive drive.

For 523i, no comfort mode= no electronics stuff in your struts. Can change anything.

For later f10 after the 523i, no comfort+ mode= no electronic stuff. "Normal" in 523i was renamed to "comfort".

Highly unlikely that the 523 has any of these suspension options in SG.

Yup I can configure drivetrain and chassis in sports modeView attachment 56647.

Yup I can configure drivetrain and chassis in sports modeView attachment 56647.

That does not mean much. Mine has that screen too and I can confirm mine don't have any electronic stuff. Changed to kw and m5 ARB.

adaptive drive is like $8k option. not likely comes as default. not even pml 535i high specs.
now latest batch adaptive drive is default for 535i

Coilover is the way to go....

I tried checking using VIN on the RU site but it's sits on processing and nothing happened. Grrrr!

Anyways my ride is just a lowly F10 523 so doubt it has ADC or DDC. It's good as it means I can look at coilovers when my warranty runs out.

What's the price range like for the M5 ARB? Do I need to approach PML or MA for order and installation?

but ur ride definitely has something more than the normal SG F10 as the cars here do not get the option to customize sports mode…the malaysian F10 come standard with DDC and they have the customizable sports mode
