Active Steering Warning

Hi, recently the yellow active steering warning light appear indicating that there was a fault to my active steering. My steering wheel is pointing straight. Had search through the forum and also the internet to understand that this seems to be common issue related to the SZL sensor. Hence would like to seek the help and guidance of fellow Bimmers on how to overcome this issue?

1. Any workshop to recommend to help diagnose?
2. Can the sensors be cleaned, like what is shared in this thread? (Steering angle sensor DIY fix - it worked - BMW M5 Forum and M6 Forums)
3. If not, what the next course of action, can I have a rough quote for the repair?

Re: Active Steering Warning

PML best. Outside workshops may not have the experience.

Re: Active Steering Warning

Went to one of the workshop (listed in this forum), manage to change the sensor but they can't recode the sensor so error still there. Workshop said they waiting for a new device to do the recoding so have been waiting for them... (Close to 2 months Liao). Maybe will try other workshop if they still no news.

If you need help let me know .... I think it takes just a few minutes for coding the SZL ....
