Absorber and spring

Hi all,

I just got my E36 318iA, understand that i need to change my absorber and thus seeking help here in this forum. What is a good set of absorber and est. price or should i go back to the stock stuff. Understand there is a coilover set?

Please advise?

am on bilstein yellow for front, and black for rear...quite a nice setup so far..not too harsh....

tried coilovers...too hard for me.... hope this helps..

btw, if u're looking for new shocks, so am I!... share quotes/info?..

i juz switched to Bilstein HD Shocks front and rear with Eibach pro-kit springs all round...
generally i would say one-step harder then shocks, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. a slightly more bumpy ride but well damped

I am on Sachs performance Spring and absobers now ,after using less a month on coilover ride, it economical price approx S$1,250. with great and comfortable ride,

Sorry what are the diff between yellow and black? How the specs differs by color code?

Can't wait and thus went ahead to change already. Mine is a bilstein absorber, i believe is black as they are the basic rite? Do understand that the yellow are slightly harder. Since mine is a normal 318 with no engine mod, i believe it should do just fine for me. I paid for 138 per piece.

Sorry,was just thinking aloud. Can combine normal absorbers with Eibach Prokit springs or not? Anybody tried before?
