About E36 meter

A friend of mine bought an E36 M3 meter to fit into his 318is.
Well, knowing that the top speed dials are different...so its not accurate in speed.
Does anyone knows if there's someone or a workshop that can calibrate it?
If it couldnt be done,I think I can call him to give it up..:errmm:

Thanks all...

Re: About E36 meter

the meter is for l6 and the signal from the engine is from l4. the rpm reading will be different but the rest is the same

Re: About E36 meter

i tink not only that... you will have lotsa check lights lighting up.. but can easily solve by unplugging them out..

You changed yours to M3 ones? I read somewhere that there are some functions that M3 meter has.. and since our car do not have such sensors, there will still be some check light lighting up... mabbie bro joon can help to clarify ? i tink i read it from his post if i can remember correctly
