the lead car is a fully restored rally car from the 80s, one of the few that are left in the world.
the rest have already been scrapped, or taken apart and sold off.
if i recall correctly, that car has about 280+ hp. not to be messed with.
article could be found in one of the back issues of BMW Car.

the guy who bought the car is apparently a collector. damn rich fella who has a penchant for classic bimmers. painstakingly rebuilt it from a pathetic pile of junk.
after retiring from championship rallying in the UK, the car has been to australia, the philippines, and the shipped back to the UK.
most of the parts are not original anymore, and the car has been resprayed in different colours a couple of times, before being restored to former glory.
the way it was identified was through the chassis number.
