Hello guys,
Thought of buying this little babe from a friend whom keen to sell his Z3, 1.9,auto.. One owner car and mileage is below 50K. Asking price SGD62k. Year due to scrap: 9/2007. After paying for another 10years COE. It costed only 74K? Any comments?

beware of the AutoBox.......I guess if u trust your friend..........$62 for another year????? what is the scrap value??? $30k??? so 32K for the body? sounds steep to me...........

You've gotta to really like the Z3, cos just about every review says the 1.9 is too... zzz.

The 1.9 Manual is quite exciting. But then again you really don't need a (M engine or the likes) in a cabrio know.......... or u will be making comments similar to that of Babe........

hi, bring it to mr wee at bvo, think i am sure he will give you a good answer to buy or not to buy. z3 r known to have a drift effect, when corner hard. good fo drifting , plus audio can be upgraded with no problem. if you keen you must put lots of work on under carriage , sway bar etc...

Thank you for all your information..

The 97 Z3, 1.9i paper value now is S$44000. OMV=S$43000. Parf: S$34400.00

Selling price S$62-S$34.4= S$27.6 for the last year. Sounds crazy man.

I have checked around most of the exporters, and the quotations varies from S$8-S$11k for this 97 model...

After calculation, it works out: S$44K( paper value) less 5% brokerage=S$41800. Body price= S$11000. Grand figure will be S$52800.00

I think the selling price of S$62k does not really sounds interesting to me!!!.

Anyway, I shall close this issue and move on.....( forget Z3, do for Z4).......
