Hi Bro.
Found a set of rims but due to offset problem, there's no 8.5x19" for the front.

The tyre shop says this combo is workable, but i need second opinion from the experts here....tyres will be 235/3519 Fr & 265/30/19 Rr.

Many Thanks

should be ok. i think they're the same as some oem 19 inch wheel sizes

235 profile tyre will look slightly "overflowing" on an 8" wide rim, but it will work just fine.

Re: 8 x 19" & 9.5x19"? do they work on E90?

The more important question is , what are the offsets ?

Pak.. tht was just exactly what I was thinking...

Re: 8 x 19" & 9.5x19"? do they work on E90?

ok....offset for the front is ET37 and the rear is ET28.

the OEM E90 front offset is 8x17" ET34. That means with the new 19" wheel, the front in fact retract by 3mm each side. would this be a problem?

can anyone confirm that the front 8' x 19" runs the 235/35/19 tyre safely?

hmm dun think 3mm is significant?

For the tyres, i think they are jus fine

If you need confirmation, call another tyre specialist

Re: 8 x 19" & 9.5x19"? do they work on E90?

original for front 8 wheel is 225 so you're actually being more safe. lol

i'm running 235 on 8.5 front and its still ok but less rims protection.

your rears might be a close one depending on your ride height but it will look good.

you might want to put some 5mm spacers on the front so it won't look too sunken in. 5mm is nothing so no need to worry about spacer strength

Re: 8 x 19" & 9.5x19"? do they work on E90?

Those offsets are fine and safe tho I personally would prefer +30 to match with the increased negativity of the rear rim offset cum increased width.

As for tires, run those sizes are good. Dont run 225 => too narrow and u will get uneven grip => too much understeering.

So stay with 235/35/19 for the front.

Cheers

hee...thanks all Bro...

you know what Terry, after i left Mike for the Volks ME. Its a shame that Daniel told me he saw the wrong fitment, there was no Rear for my car @ ET30 but the ET22 for the M3 offset. Daniel had even picked up those PS2 from the supplier and ready for the action...damn! no luck!

anyway, now i got another chance to take a closer look at another set. Could you PM me the contacts for Ray-S? i need to confirm some weight issue of those rims, thanks bro
