Hi Folks,

Just went to my car, tried to start but cant.
i suspect it might be starter motor - didnt hear any cranking.

The MMI shows no errors (except that my front headlight shows some error indication).

Horn, interior/headlight, alarm working...
What could went wrong?

Can anyone recommend me a reliable repair workshop (w/contact)? I might need a tow...
Any similar experience on estimated damage?

Might not be going PML since the repair cost might be high...
Thanks!

Hi all,

Thanks to the help of the bro here who msg me their contact.

Got my car fixed in a day - turns out to be starter motor as suspected.
Damage ard 600 (w/tow).

Done in a professional workshop with great service - settle everything for me, which i definitely consider engaging on long-term basis. No more PML... :shakemyb:

Once again...Kum sia!

Cheers,
Stanley

If I'm not mistaken, BMW Roadside Assist is for PML cars and the duration is 10yrs from date of purchase.

hi,just to share. I called the BMW roadside assist one month back and they replaced my battery FOC which would have cost $300++.
Recently when i went back to pml to do some checks.pml told me they will register my battery n charge me $50 for it. I guess its the service charge afterall .

$his is definitely a rip-off - $50 to register a warranty!!!! Have u ever paid to register your Sony or Samsung products' warranty.

I was in similar situation last month. Went to PML three weeks later to register the warranty. They told me they need three hours to computer-analyse my car.

To keep my story short, it was done in 20 minutes, after my tea and four pieces of the mini cakes.
