Hi, I am driving a 335i. Have not really done any hard acceleration on the car until recently when I did about 3 times of hard acceleration using SD mode in a late night. After the last try, I got an alert saying Reduced Power or Loss, Engine something something (cant remember exactly). Despite the alert mentioned reduced power, the car was able to move around atleast 80km/h but the rev changed gear at around 3000 or higher (normally around 2000+). Power loss could be felt but was not alot.
After the incident, I stopped at a carpark and switched off the engine for 5 minutes. Restarted the engine and everything was back to normal. Been driving it around for 2 days and have yet to feel any different. Probably because I did not do any hard acceleration yet.
Has anyone experienced this before? It does not seems like HPFP problem since I have no problem cranking the engine.
