335 E93 Keyless Sensor Problem

Hi All,

Has anyone ever encountered the insensitivity of the key sensors?

My door doesn't always lock no matter how much I "caress" the handle...

It is also quite often that my car will prompt that there is no key present eventhough it is in my pocket...

Tried changing the battery for the remote twice, but it still seems to have trouble sensing the remote (although no problem starting the car).

Would appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

I think there are several parameters I coded from before to modify the RSSI timings and work around the interferences as a test sometime ago.

Maybe that can help ..........

Check the state of your car battery as well ....... tends to shutdown ancillary ecus when it cannot hold charge ......

Thanks for the info. I brought my car for a firmware update and reprogramming, but that didn't solve the problem.

Are there specific settings or configurations that I can point out to my mechanic?
Or can you perhaps reccomend a mechanic?

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem with my 325i e90 lci too. It used to be fine I think till I installed my window tinting. Did you manage to find out what's the problem or solution?
