Dear Bros,

Advice and suggestions needed.

Currently driving 318ci (02 model), and facing following problems.

Recently noticed several episodes (3x),when moving off and going downslope (i.e., Not a steep slope/ slopes like mutli story car park), i noticed rpm went up to 3 - 4000 before gear changing to 2nd gear (not reving hard, gentle acceleration).:shock:

Does any bro(s) encountered such problems? and has found out what caused this problem or any bro(s) here can advice what can be done and solutions to this?:verysad:

Have also felt the car has lost power? Is it cause by fuel filter? or spark plug(s)?.:verysad:

Please help! your suggestions and solutions will be greatly appreciated!

lost power as in when you accelerate the car from start driving till you stop or, on and off....

Yes, as what you mentioned (lost power when accelerate from start till stop/ felt it especially when picking up).
