Suggesting the upgrade for the USA 325 and 525 model upgrade to a 330 and 530 performance (since they are detuned 3-litres, also states the single stage intake manifold, restrictive exhaust and detuned ECU).
Since we know that the 323 and 523 are detuned versions of a 2.5 - would the same mechanical replacements and ECU tuning means an opportunity for more real power closer to a 325 and 525?
They are after all six-cylinders and this "special treatment" by manfacture has created model variants when the engines are the same N52B25 which is used for (e90) 323 and 325 and (e60) 523 and 525 in Singapore?
And N52B30 3 litre variants for the 325 and 330, 525 and 530 in the USA?
So this 3-step stage Turner Motorsport - Item# TN52-ST3 - Stage 3 Performance Upgrade for 2006 325i (E90/E91) - Software & Intake/Exhaust Manifolds - E90 E91 will bring this back to par.
Now we need someone willing to test and install the items other than fiddling with ECU only ....
