320iXL Check Engine Light

Hi Guys,

I do not have the check engine light lit when the remote is inserted. Can anyone advise if this is normal. (Japs car light is on when is switch to acc mode and goesw off after crank up)

I thought that not seeing the CEL is a good thing...............

Yes of cos but the thing is that is it working. How do i tell if it working without the self test indication.

all the warning lights should light up the first few seconds upon starting the car
