First pics: 2013 Jaguar XE roadster spied

The XE is Jaguar's small two-seater roadster that sits below the current XK in the coventry firm's line-up. According to Auto Express, the XE is aimed at 'stealing' sales from Porsche Boxster and 911 - and I believe BMW Z4 roadster too. To be hooked up with a slew of new V6 units, Jaguar will unveiled a concept model in 2012 with sales starting in 2013.

Don't know if Jaguar's so-called timeless tail design is good or crap. They are the same as the XK released in 1996. Are they thinking of re-competing in the space where the XK has failed to make any significant impact amongst sports car enthusiasts?
