2005 e65 auto boot

Hi all bros, I'm buying over a 2005 sept 730i from a fren,from what he told me,there's no auto boot feature on his car,can anyone advise? Coz I thought all 7 series come with auto boot.thanks

Since you are buying from a friend and why you don't trust a friend. Anyway, I think only the LWB model has auto tail gate.

E66/7xxLi/LWB = Long Wheelbase
E65/7xxi/SWB = Short Wheelbase

Long wheelbase can be differentiated by the chrome trims that runs along both sides of the roof of the car, short wheelbase have body colored versions of said trims.

Just saw a maroon E65 boot open at ORQ today, looked more like a spring action that swung the boot open instead of the gradual mechanical motion on E66, also no boot close button. Probably available as an optional extra on the E65...
