Re: 2.8k for KW Var 2 ok?

sounds bout rite with euro alot higher
I got mine at that price 2yrs back and it included labour but not allignment charge.

Re: 2.8k for KW Var 2 ok?

I think it should be a bit lower. I got my KW Var.2 for about S$2.4k for my E92.

U can get a quote from our site sponsor, KW Suspension.

that's good price dude...

Re: 2.8k for KW Var 2 ok?

Bro Sam, very good price indeed.

Pak, 2yrs back you got PSS9 right? for 2.8K?

Re: 2.8k for KW Var 2 ok?

its a good price cuz i remembered getting my KW Var1 for about that price for my E46!!

Shop around, Mcwell is selling at 2.6k with installation and alignment. A friend just bought and installed his. Unfortunately, there were installation issues and he wasn't too confident of the place.

Maybe u can squeeze for just getting the parts w/o installation and alignment?

Cheers!

Re: 2.8k for KW Var 2 ok?

that price should be about right if u get it from shops locally... if u bring in urself..can save abit

Re: 2.8k for KW Var 2 ok?

installation cost quoted for coilover so far its >180 including GST, but without wheel alignment. it will be another $40-$80 for alignment, so I think its better to have quotes parts+install+alignment together. cos I doubt any dealer are crazy enough to let it go at low low 2.*K

Thanks so much guys!

I gather it's a fair price from what I read, have already placed a deposit and they should arrive in 3 weeks time. :)

One question though it's still not on yr ride, This KW V2 on top of better handling, is it more comfy than the stock one?

usually coilover are much firmer than stock.... not exactly more comfortable but ur ride will feel so much much much more better... everything feels more solid to drive... that u dont care about comfort anymore.. :)

Re: 2.8k for KW Var 2 ok?

Won't say its more comfortable but the ride will be firm. Ur car wouldn't crash over humps or over stripes. Firmness of the ride will depend on your KW Var.2 settings. Set it to medium and drive the car. After a few days of the suspension settling, then u may want to tweak the firmness. At least u can adjust the damping!
