18" Tires Recommendation

Dear all,
My tires are soon-to-be-changed, and am looking for reco (where 2 buy, abt how much) for :
F: 225/40/18
R: 255/35/18
Currently quite happy with the Michelin PS2 RFTs.
Will like to stick to RFTs if possible.
Anyone knows where i can get PS2 RFTs?

Well, I just changed to Pirelli Zero RFTs from Hurry tires. So far so good. The Pirelli's are 2.4k while the Michelins are 2.6k.

hi,
RFT is expensive.
i switched to non-RFT with the same setup as yours.
$1.3K for BS RE001.
$850 for Radial GT
$1.7K for Pilot Sport

thanks for the great feedback, and it's really a surprise that the gap's so big between the RFT and the non-RFTs...

steven, juz to check, where can i get the those prices? some shop to point me to?

rich, ditch the RFT's and go for regular tyres. they r that nuch better

+1 for normal tyres ... less expensive, comfort and good

for peace of mind ... can get the airman tyre repair kit from j4c and keep it in your boot

+1 on regular tires too.
If no one insisting that you get RFTs, just get the Michelin PS2. Heard they're good, grippy and quiet

hey guys, thanks for the resounding and assuring reco! Non-RFTs it is! keep the $$$ for other mods

btw, where can i find non-RFT michelin PS2 or pirelli P-Zero of these sizes? my usual place has problem with the 35 profile... pls PM me if not convenient to post public... Tks!

Well i did mine at Hurry's near serene center. Good service and they got a relatively large stock of tires. Can try them.
